Iesha and The Arabian Delight

Middle Eastern Belly Dancing

Iesha began her study of Middle Eastern dancing in 1974, while stationed with her husband in Fairbanks, Alaska. She formed her own dance troop, the Arabian Delight, and performed with them at the Octa Greek Restaurant on a nightly basis.

She also taught Middle Eastern Dance for the University of Alaska. Since then Iesha has performed in several states with the Arabian Delight. She was a featured performer at the 4th annual International Festival in Battle Creek MI and at the Calhoun County Fair, Marshall, Michigan.

She's appeared on television in Alaska, Mississippi, and Michigan. Iesha, with her troop, headlined at the Biloxi Hilton and Sheraton Hotels, performed for conventions and luncheon groups, ladies groups and fund raising programs.

She's performed with the Thunderbirds, Mo Bandy and his band, a Jerry Lewis Telethon, and many retirement homes. She's taught for several dance studios, recreation centers, and retirement homes and conducted private classes.

She is currently teaching for the LaVista Recreation Center in Nebraska.
